IDENTICAL TO THE SANGEAN WR-2Feb 25, 2009 Check out Amazon's many reviews for the "Sangean WR-2" which appears to be identical to this so-called custom creation from Roy/Music Hall. Yeah, created by Sangean/China for Music Hall, and it looks like it came out in 1996. I still like it alot, but the AM reception (without external antenna) is poor. I have it placed in a cupboard directly above our microwave/stove/oven, which is likely a tough place for ANY radio to get good reception. But FM reception is quite good with supplied whip, but not perfect. The unit's build is also fairly deep, and the AC cord sticks rigidly straight backwards, making for even deeper space requirement.
