With its true monoblock modular construction, NAD's T955 five-channel power amplifier effectively eliminates unwanted channel cross-talk and other distortions harmful to pure sound. Its premium grade components include 'Class A' input circuit topology and high-current Holmgren toroidal power transformers. Stable at 8-ohms to 2-ohms, the T955 works to preserve pure sound through NADs proprietary Soft Clipping technology. The T955 employs monoblock construction for each of its seven channels. Except for the power supply, every element of each channel's circuitry is fully independent, eliminating inter-channel influences as a concern. The T955 employs active ground isolation to further eliminate any possibility of inter-channel interference even when more than one preamplifier is driving the power amp (as might be the case in a custom installation).
